Denim & Diamonds Gala Supporting Bay Area Youth 

Side by Side hosted its annual Reach for the Stars Denim & Diamonds Gala on September 19 at the Bill and Adele Jonas Center, welcoming 140 guests for an unforgettable evening of support for youth mental health services.

Thanks to the generosity of attendees, sponsors, volunteers, and donors, the event raised $130,000 to fund vital behavioral and mental health programs for nearly 1,800 youth and their families across Alameda, Marin, Napa, and Sonoma Counties.

Guests sparkled in their best Denim & Diamonds attire for a glittering evening of celebration and impact at Side by Side’s gala.

The night featured signature cocktails, a mouthwatering seated dinner by Classic Culinaire, thrilling raffles and live auctions, and non-stop dancing to the electrifying sounds of Pride & Joy SF. Emmy Award-winning personality Liam Mayclem lit up the room as MC and auctioneer, bringing his signature sparkle and high-energy charm to the festivities. Side by Side CEO Dr. Christine Garcia and Bank of Marin CEO Tim Myers shared powerful messages about the importance of supporting youth mental health, joined by heartfelt remarks from parents from the Irene M. Hunt School, JD Schramm and Ken Daigle.

It was a night of denim, diamonds, and deep community connection. Together, we are building brighter futures—one star at a time.
